We are pleased to introduce “Punnayurkulam Welfare Committee” (PWC) as one of the organizations based in Punnayurkulam Panchayat, carrying out various charitable activities. This Committee was formed in 1996. PWC currently comprises of over 100 active members, those who resides in Punnayurkulam Panchayat. The activities of the committee focus mainly on underprivileged inhabitants of Punnayurkulam. The main objective of the Committee is to extend financial assistance to the needy and financially deprived people. PWC provides financial aid for medical treatment to those with serious ailments. It supports children to continue higher studies. PWC also promotes higher study schemes for adults by providing financial aid. Homeless people are given assistance to buy lands and construct homes. People without any type of income are given monthly financial grants to meet their basic needs.
